What is Acquirer?

Acquirer uses AI to analyze a company’s previous acquisitions and industry trends, then recommends businesses that could be a good strategic fit for future M&A.

Unlike Finder (Cyndx’s AI based general search tool), Acquirer focuses specifically on acquisition recommendations based on real-world deal patterns.

View a guided tour of Acquirer with step-by-step instructions to get started.

Note: if the name of the acquiring company does not appear in the typeahead, see more detail above on requirements.

  2. Acquirer + Concept – Add an industry/keyword to focus results in a particular space.

  4. Acquirer + Concept + Comparable Company – Combine both types of input influencers.

Refine Search Results:

You can refine the results by selecting specific preferences such as location, headcount, and financial information, company age etc. The Projected to Raise filter can also be helpful to identify companies in need of capital that may be willing to engage in a conversation to sell.

A. Refining by Location 📍

(1) Geographic Location - Click on one category from the tabs shown—global region, country, or state—and a dropdown will appear. You can start typing to narrow down the list. Click on the checkbox to add one or more options within that category. This means that if you choose to filter by country, for example, you can select one or multiple countries, but not from other categories like state, global region, or exact location.

(2) Exact Location - Begin typing in the address tab and select the exact or closest match from the suggestions that appear below. The default maximum distance is 250 miles, but you can adjust this to your preference, including switching from miles to kilometers. Once you're satisfied with your selection, click outside the box to apply it as a filter. If you already have an existing location filter, the new one will override it.

Refining by Filters

Click on filters by ticking all the desired filters under Company Info, Financials , Employee Count, Company age, Funding Stage and do not forget to click Done

5.You can adjust the Result limit by 100, 500, or 1000.

6. Click the arrow button to trigger the search run.
