The "units for financials" selections determine how the system interprets the financials you enter and how they are labelled in the report generated. If you are entering the financial projections in terms of ones, thousands, millions, or billions, select the appropriate units and ensure all of the currency figures you enter in the Excel template or Input Financials tab are expressed in terms of the units you choose.

Keep in mind that you may wish to balance a granular presentation of the financials against one which is easier to read and comprehend. Expressing your projections in thousands of USD makes sense for most small to mid-sized companies.
