Note: If you do not have access to this tool, reach out to [email protected]

  2. Begin typing the name of the company you're seeking investors for, then select it from the dropdown. If you don’t see the company in the dropdown, try searching by URL. If you still can’t find it, check this article: I can't find a company in the Raiser search bar.

  3. You may choose to enter concepts related to industry or sector of the company that you are looking for.

  4. You may choose to enter a comparable or primary competitor. This helps our algorithm provide the most relevant results. You can also add secondary competitors (optional).
Helpful hint: Not sure what competitor(s) to use? Try Finder! Or reach out to [email protected] for a courtesy Finder run.

  5. Enter the desired raise amount.

  6. Click on either Yes or No for debt financing if you want to apply this filter.

  7. You can adjust the Result limit by 100, 500, or 1000.

Explore Search Results

Raiser identifies investors that best match your search criteria based on their previous transactions. Click on the separate Investors tabs—Financial Investors and Strategic Investors—designed to cater to the type of investor you are looking for, and view up to 1000 potential matches.

Refine Search Results

From the Raiser Search Results, you can refine the results by selecting specific preferences such as location, company/investor type, company information, and financial information (or size).

A. Refining by Location

(1) Geographic Location - Click on one category from the tabs shown—global region, country, or state—and a dropdown will appear. You can start typing to narrow down the list. Click on the checkbox to add one or more options within that category. This means that if you choose to filter by country, for example, you can select one or multiple countries, but not from other categories like state, global region, or exact location.

(2) Exact Location - Begin typing in the address tab and select the exact or closest match from the suggestions that appear below. The default maximum distance is 250 miles, but you can adjust this to your preference, including switching from miles to kilometers. Once you're satisfied with your selection, click outside the box to apply it as a filter. If you already have an existing location filter, the new one will override it.

B. Refining by Filters

Select output filters by ticking all the desired filters under investor type, financials and company age, do not forget to click Done.

Save Results

A. Save an Entire List of Investors from Refined Search Results

To save an entire investor list from your refined search results, tick the Select all checkbox and click on the Selected Companies on the right side of the top row.
