Get Started

The Finder landing page is where you can enter a company or a concept or both, then select your choice from the dropdown. You can also add more than one company or concept to your search. You can search by a company within a particular space, or by a concept that describes it. Additionally, filters are available to narrow your Finder search. Finder Search Capabilities

A. Search by Company/Companies

  • Enter a company or companies and select from the suggested results.

  • You can change the Result limit and choose from the dropdown from numbers 100, 500 or 1000 to have a wider search results.

B. Search Concepts with no limitations

  • The new and improved Finder have the capabilities to search companies and concepts without limitations.

C. Search by Combining companies + concepts

  • With Finder, It also allows user to search using company name plus concept/s related to it.


Finder Search Results Explained

Searching for a company name or concept provides various insights. The five tabs—Companies, Investors, Acquirers, Comparables, and Related News—offer relevant information tailored to your search.

Companies tab

  • Lists companies relevant to the search query based on industry, financials, keywords, or business focus.

  • Includes company profiles with details such as funding history, leadership, market position, and recent developments.

  • Useful for identifying startups, competitors, or potential business partners.

Example:

Investors tab

  • Shows venture capital firms, private equity funds, angel investors, and other financial backers relevant to the search.

  • Provides insights into their past investments, preferred industries, typical investment sizes, and portfolio companies.

  • Helps businesses find potential investors for fundraising efforts.

Acquirers tab

  • Displays companies that have previously acquired businesses in the searched industry or space.

  • Includes details on past M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activity, strategic focus, and deal sizes.

  • Useful for companies considering exit strategies or M&A opportunities.

Comparables tab

  • Lists businesses similar to the searched company or industry segment based on key financials, market position, and other metrics.

  • Helps in valuation analysis and competitive benchmarking.

  • Useful for investors conducting due diligence or companies assessing competition.

Related News tab

  • Aggregates recent news articles, press releases, industry reports related to the searched topic and filterable by article type.

  • Provides insights into market trends, funding rounds, acquisitions, and emerging opportunities.

  • Helps in staying informed about industry developments and potential investment risks.

Helpful Shortcuts to maximize your Finder Results

Have a quick view of Company Financials, Investment Acquisitions and Fundraises

  • Click anywhere on the company row to expand and reveal more detail, such as their full portfolio. For your convenience, we've highlighted a few of the most recent Financials, Fundraises, and Investment and Acquisitions.

Example:

"See similar companies"

  • allows users to identify companies related to a specific organization. It is useful for investors seeking comparable investment opportunities or businesses aiming to understand their competitive landscape.

Example:

When you click "see similar companies" it will direct you to Finder results similar to that company.

Dropdown Arrow - Mark as Viewed, Contacts, Add to list and Salesforce

  • Click on the menu located on the right of the row next to the arrow dropdown and reveal helpful shortcuts, including mark as viewed icon, contact information, add to list and salesforce login.
