A Raiser run is incurred each time the blue search button is clicked. Each individual Raiser run counts toward your total search limit which applies to users who purchased Raiser by the run. If you have the full bundle, you have unlimited searches, and the limit does not apply.
Scenarios when 1 Raiser run is counted:
1 Raiser run is counted when you start your search from the Raiser home page and click the blue search button as shown below.

A single Raiser run can return up to 1,000 results. Each run includes two sets of investor lists—one for financial investors and another for strategic investors—separated by tabs, along with additional tabs for comparables and related news.

The higher the Raise Amount, the narrower your search results will be. Keep this in mind while ensuring the criteria still align with the type of investor you're targeting.
Debt & Grant Funding is set to No by default. If you switch it to Yes, your results will often narrow further, depending on what’s prominent in the industry you’re targeting. If you need results for both options (Yes and No), you’ll need to run two separate searches—each counting as one Raiser run.
Set the Result Limit to 1,000 before clicking the search button. You can always refine your results later using the filters provided which were discussed here: How to refine Raiser search results?

All prior searches can be readily accessed without incurring a Raiser run under 'recent searches' on the Raiser home page, as well as in history.
Recent Searches - When you access your Raiser search history and click on one of the searches, it will not count as 1 Raiser run. This can be accessed from the left-hand side of the Raiser home page as shown below.
