What is contact email verification?

Cyndx now provides a feature for contact email verification, offering insights into the status of email addresses associated with company profiles. Here's a guide to understanding and utilizing this functionality:

  1. Go to a company's profile and navigate to the "Contacts" tab.

  2. Identify email addresses with a green check, grayed-out appearance, or left unmarked.

Understanding email verifications:

Green check:

Indicates a confirmed and verified email address. Emails sent to this address will not result in bounce backs or failures. You can hover over the email to view the verification date.

Grayed-out Email:

Denotes that this email address is what is known as a “Accept all” which is defined as an email address that is configured to receive emails for a specific domain. Likely not associated directly with an individual. Emails sent to this address will not result in bounce backs or failures. Hover over the email to see the verification date.

Unmarked Email:

Signifies an email address that has not yet been verified. Exercise caution when sending emails to unverified addresses.

This feature enhances your deal-sourcing experience on Cyndx by providing transparency and reliability in your communication efforts. If you have further questions or encounter any issues, please reach out to us via chat or email at [email protected] for assistance.
