Occasionally, users may face issues with Excel's auto-formatting feature, especially when it converts employee count ranges into dates. Here's a quick tutorial to guide you through opening a file in the correct format:

  1. Open Excel and Navigate to the Data Tab: Launch Excel and go to the "Data" tab located in the ribbon at the top of the screen.

  2. Access the "Get Data" Dropdown: On the left side of the "Data" tab, find and click on the "Get Data" dropdown

  3. Choose "From Text/CSV": From the dropdown menu, hover over "File" and select "From Text/CSV."

  4. Locate and Select Your CSV File: Navigate to the folder where your CSV file is stored and choose the relevant file.

  5. Follow the Text Import Wizard: The "Text Import Wizard" will appear. Follow these key steps:

    1. Select "Comma" as the delimiter.

    2. Preview to ensure proper data separation in the preview window.

  6. Click "Finish/Load" to import the data into Excel. Your data should now be successfully loaded in Excel.
