Searching for investors: Finder vs. Raiser (for bundle users)

Cyndx Finder vs. Raiser

Cyndx simplifies the art of mapping sector landscapes, along with uncovering the active investors/acquirers in a particular space. We try to bubble up those investor/acquirers that you may not have in your rolodex or was unaware of, to enhance client advisement.

Finding investors is simple with Cyndx, with two ways of searching:

  1. sector-driven, using Finder, to show a full view of active players in a market, or

  2. transaction-specific, using Raiser, to find the best matches for a particular fundraise or strategic acquirer in seconds.

Cyndx Finder

In the Finder example below, a search around TIER App returns a full competitive landscape of 500 companies that describe themselves similarly to TIER, with 389 relevant investors and 39 acquirers in this space on the following tabs.
On the Investor tab, filters can be applied to narrow the investment landscape down by investor type or median deal size, with the most relevant deals (based on our search around TIER) highlighted in the right hand column.
While Finder is not deal-specific, it provides a wide view of who the active players are in a given market.

Alternatively, Raiser is transaction-driven to return a curated list of potential investors / co-investors or strategic acquirer based on transaction criteria.
In the example below, a $5m Series A Raiser run for another scooter company, Dash, returns a list of investors that are precision-targeted to be the most highly likely to participate in such a raise based on past investments in their portfolios.

By clicking any company to reveal more information, you will see an investor's full portfolio. For your convenience, the most similar deals are displayed at the top, giving you immediate insight into which companies they have invested similar check sizes in this particular market, as well as any co-investors of a particular transaction.
