How to delete a 409A valuation

A 409A is an independent appraisal of the fair market value of a company's common stock reserved for founders and employees. This valuation is required by IRS Section 409A and determines the cost to purchase a share.

Navigate to the 409A Valuation page

  1. Sign in to Cyndx and go to the Owner tab

  2. On the left-hand navigation bar, click the Compliance drop down

  3. From the drop down menu, click on the 409A option


Delete a 409A Valuation

  1. Here you will see your Previous 409A documents and an Actions menu to the right hand side of your documents.

    Don't have 409A documents? Read more on how to create or upload documents.

  2. Click the pencil icon to delete your 409A.
