Related news brings you the most related articles on companies based on your search results (in the companies tab)

Related news tags help you understand the type of articles trending in your space at a glance.

Related News Tab - Finder Video Tutorial:

How to navigate to see related news

  1. Go to Finder

  2. Add either a concept or company into the Finder search bar

  3. Run your Finder search

  4. As your results load, you will find 6 results tab (of which related news is one. of them)

  5. Click onto the Related News tab

  6. You will see the latest news events based on your search results (related articles based on your search target and companies within your list (companies tab))

  7. Click on the headline of an article and you will be directed to that article on a separate tab.

You can view the articles by clicking on two hyperlinks:

  1. Headline of article

  2. URL of article (external link 'read more')

Each article row will also display related companies. This means that a company(s) are mentioned in the article which makes them relatable to the news article.

  • By clicking on the company chips (under related companies) you will be directed to that company profile page.

Related news tags

Related tags are labels identifying the type of article the user is about to read.

Below is a table of all tags we display as a type for articles and their definition/description.

Company promoted existing executive or senior personnel.

leaves

Executive or senior personnel left the company.

retires

Executive or senior personnel retires from the company.

acquires

Company acquired other company.

merges with

Company merges with other company.

sells assets to

Company sells assets (like properties or warehouses) to other company.

expands offices to

Company opens new offices in another town, state, country or continent.

expands offices in

Company expands existing offices.

expands facilities

Company opens new or expands existing facilities like warehouses, data centers, manufacturing plants etc.

opens new location

Company opens new service location like hotels, restaurants, bars, hospitals etc.

increases headcount by

Company offers new job vacancies.

launches

Company launches new offering.

integrates with

Company integrates with other company.

is developing

Company begins development of a new offering.

receives financing

Company receives investment like venture funding, loan, grant etc.

invests into

Company invests into other company.

invests into assets

Company invests into assets like property, trucks, facilities etc.

goes public

Company issues shares to the public for the first time.

closes offices

Company closes existing offices.

decreases headcount by

Company lays off employees.
