Cyndx gives insight on company relationships by displaying any parent companies and/or subsidiaries. When searching for a company's parent company, there are two ways to get there:

Example: I want to see Youtube's parent company.

Option 1: You can run a Finder search to see acquisition details:

  • Then, type in YouTube into the Finder search bar and run the search.

  • On the right hand side, click on the "more details" arrow to expand the company row. On the left hand side, Acquisition details will appear and will reveal which company acquired YouTube.

Option 2: You can go to the company profile.

  • In the "Go to company profile" search bar in the top right corner of the page, type in YouTube and run a search.

  • Then, on the company profile page, go to the "Relationships" tab.

  • The corporate family tree reveals the direct relationship between YouTube and its parent companies, both Google and Alphabet.
