Convertible notes are a form of debt with a senior position in a company’s capital structure and a feature whereby the notes may convert to equity following achievement of certain milestones according to their convertible terms.Once you’ve created convertible terms, you are able to go back and make edits as needed, following the steps below.

How to edit convertible terms

Navigate to the Securities Terms page to edit convertible terms

  1. Sign in to Cyndx and go to the Owner tab

  2. On the left-hand navigation bar, click the Securities drop down

  3. From the drop down menu, click on Securities Terms

  4. On the Securities Terms page, click the Convertible Terms tab

  5. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on the terms you would like to edit

6. Make the relevant changes to the terms

7. Hit Update to save your changes
